The Oregon Berry Festival

July 12 and 13, 2013, come down to the Ecotrust Building on NW 10th and Johnson in Portland

…to taste and buy some of the season’s best berries and also sample amazing products made with Oregon’s berry bounty.

There will be ice creams, pies, cobblers, jams, strawberry shortcake plus the unexpected taste treat like Marionberry BBQ sauce, Loganberry liqueur, cranberry chocolates, natural blueberry soda and much more.

This is a fun family event with a children’s activities, live entertainment, a Portland Restaurant Berry Bramble and a chance to win a bike and eat your fill of Oregon berries. Buy tickets to the Gala Berry Dinner prepared by Portland’s award winning Chef Vitaly Paley, will be held Friday night, July 12, 2013 at Hotel Lucia in Portland, Oregon.

Admission is free!

The Ecotrust Event Space hosts the 3rd Annual Oregon Berry Festival
July 12-13, 2013

Featuring more than 40 different booths with first of Oregon’s bountiful berry harvest for 2013.

Portland, OR — From Marionberries to Ollalie berries to the freshest blueberries and strawberries available, the Oregon Berry Festival showcases what makes summer sublime in Oregon. A sunny July day, a chance to sample both fresh berries and a wide variety of berry products right in downtown Portland at the edge of the Pearl district is what’s in store for you when you visit one of the best summer festival in the west.

Admission is free to the festival located at the Ecotrust, 10th & Johnson in Portland. Hours will be from noon to 6:00 PM on Friday, July 12th and 11 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday, July 13th.

There is no better way to spend a day with family and friends. The Oregon Berry Festival has something for all ages. A children’s booth with activities and take home crafts, a main stage with cooking demos featuring berries, of course, and booths filled with fresh berries, berry candies, berry wine, berry cupcakes, berry vinegars and berry varieties and products you have only dreamt about!

If your foodie soul is hungering for a more sophisticated take on berries the Gala Berry Dinner, prepared by Portland’s award winning Chef Vitaly Paley will be held Friday night, July 12th at Hotel Lucia.

If you are busy that night don’t despair July has been designated Oregon Berry Festival Restaurant Month, with berry centric menu items offered at local restaurants across the Metro area.
