It’s LifeWise Oregon Berry Festival Time!

The Ecotrust Event Space hosts the 4rd Annual Oregon Berry Festival
July 18-19, 2014

Featuring more than 40 different booths with first of Oregon’s bountiful berry harvest for 2014.

Whether you crave juicy, plump blackberries, mouth watering strawberry preserves or a good old fashioned blueberry pie, Oregon’s bountiful berry season will be on full offer at the 4th Annual LifeWise Oregon Berry Festival.

This free, family friendly event will feature a 2-day farmers market, a children’s booth with activities and crafts, a main stage with cooking demos and entertainment, health and wellness seminars and more berry deliciousness than you can possibly imagine.

NEW for 2014: the expanded festival will feature a Know Your Oregon Berries booth, which will provide berry handling and storage tips, harvest dates and everything you need to know to help you enjoy the berries when you get them home (if you can resist eating them on the way!)

Returning to the berry calendar in addition to the popular daytime events will be the Gala Berry Dinner on Saturday, July 19th. Held on the rooftop terrace of the Ecotrust building, the dinner will feature a berry centric menu from a selection of Portland’s top chefs. And if you want more, LifeWise Oregon Berry Festival Restaurant Month will be happening across the city, with a range of local restaurants highlighting specialty berry menu items
available all July long.

Don’t miss out on an event that is pure summer fun and tastes this good. Mark your calendars for the 4th Annual LifeWise Oregon Berry Festival! The Ecotrust Event Space is located at NW 10th Ave and NW Johnson St in Portland. Festival admission is free, and the hours will be from Noon to 6pm on Friday, July 18 and 11am to 5pm on Saturday, July 19.

Eat Your Berries! The Oregon Berry Festival

Portland, OR

It wouldn’t be an Oregon summer without sweet, juicy berries showing up in everything from beer to pies! You’re sure to find both at the second annual Oregon Berry Festival, July 20th & 21st, 2012 at the Ecotrust event spaces in Portland. Visitors will have a chance to taste and buy some of the season’s best berries and also sample amazing products made with Oregon’s berry bounty. Admission is free for all events at the Ecotrust, located at NW 10th & Johnson in Portland. Hours will be from noon to six on Friday, July 20th and 11 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday, July 21st.

The Oregon Berry Festival will feature family centric entertainment all day on the “Bluesberry Stage”. There will be a children’s area with games, activities and a visit from “Ima Blueberry”, as well as cooking demonstrations for all ages. An elegant Gala Berry Dinner will be held on Saturday, July 21st at the Heathman Hotel. Tours of local farms, a chance to win raffle prizes and lots more will help round out the 2012 Oregon Berry Festival.

The Oregon Berry Festival is currently accepting applications from vendors. We are seeking fresh seasonal Oregon berries, products made from Oregon berries and we are looking for food vendors who would be able to produce some items using Oregon berries. Eat Your Berries!

The Oregon Berry Festival presents a Gala Berry Dinner, Saturday, July 23rd at the Heathman Restaurant.

Chef Phillipe Boulot at the Heathman Restaurant.The Gala Berry Dinner will mark the culmination of our very first Oregon Berry Festival. The dinner will be held July 23, 2011 beginning at 6:30 pm at the Heathman Restaurant, 1001 SW Broadway, Portland, Oregon. The Gala will showcase all of Oregon’s premium berries in a six-course gourmet dinner paired with the finest of Oregon wines.

Dinner guests will be treated to appetizers and berry cocktails to begin the evening. An extravagant display of Oregon’s berry bounty will be presented in a blind tasting for our guests.

There will be prizes for those astute enough to correctly identify each berry variety from this sumptuous display. The show stopping dinner, prepared by master Chef Philippe Boulot and his staff will feature multiple courses each one inspired by one or more of Oregon’s prize berry varieties. This is sure to be a highlight of the summer dining season in Portland!
