Plate & Pitchfork presents the Gala Berry Dinner 2016

Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:30pm at Smith Berry Barn, located at 24500 Southwest Scholls Ferry Road in Hillsboro, OR 97123.

Plate & Pitchfork presents the 6th annual Oregon Berry Festival Gala Berry Dinner, which will feature Chef Anthony Wilkie of Bluehour with Chef Chris DiMinno of Gourmet Century Events with wine from Andrew Rich Vintner.

The Oregon berry industry is one of the oldest in the country as berry plants were carried over on the Oregon Trail. Across the world, Oregon is known as a premier growing region of these delicious gems! The Gala Berry Dinner will showcase all of Oregon’s premium berries in a gourmet dinner that includes the finest of Oregon wines. Oregon berries are one of summer’s most delicious treats and while they are good just off the vine, consider treating yourself to a dinner prepared by some of Oregon’s finest chefs that uses berries in delightful and unexpected ways.

The dinner will be held rain or shine. Dinners are served family style and each table seats 8 guests. Menu substitutions are politely declined, but a vegetarian meal may be requested for this dinner at the time of reservation. Plate & Pitchfork dinners are not suitable for infants or children. Non-alcoholic drinks are always available. Pets are not permitted at dinner and may not be left in cars. Smoking and vaping are prohibited at all Plate & Pitchfork events.
